A weeklong celebration of the road movie, featuring a selection of Salles’s favorites and his own work in the genre, with the filmmaker in person for a special sneak preview of ON THE ROAD.

Catch a free advance screening of On the Road and beatnik dance party with a live Bebop band at the Knitting Factory on Sunday, Dec 16th, hosted by Brooklyn Vegan 

Take a guided photo tour through the West Village haunts frequented by classic beat poets, writers and musicians on Saturday, Dec 15th (San Francisco date to be announced). All cameras and film provided by Lomography.  

Compete in an On the Road-themed poetry slam, or just come to listen at the Nuyorican Poets Café, featuring poets from lit journals and poetry clubs all across the city on Tuesday, Dec 11. 

Join us at the Morgan Library & Museum for a special advance screening and Q&A with On the Road screenwriter Jose Rivera on Wednesday, Dec 19.
